Happy Holidays!
All the cards have been sent, the presents wrapped, and I have returned from the family trip to Gatlinburg with a cold. :( Two days before Christmas and I have done nothing all day because I just didn't have any energy. I don't know why I am surprised considering that I was hulled up in a house with family for three days straight and about 50% of them showed up after just getting over colds. Other than the cold, I had a wonderful time with the family. Stad and I got up early the first morning and walked the streets of Gatlinburg together. It was the highlight of my trip because we got to spend time together and neither one of us talked about the stresses of work. We went to the aquarium with the rest of the family that afternoon. MJ had a good time and I got to pet a sting ray! It was really slimy. We went to the Christmas shop, hung out with the girls in the hot tub, and laughed with the family. I love my family and enjoyed our time together, but I was ready for my own bed. I hope you enjoy your time with family, but remember to not eat the chex mix from a community bowl when half the family is sick. :) I hope everyone has a very special holiday season. Peace.

Welcome to the World of Blogging!
So I have been stalking (for lack of a better term) my friends and relatives on their blogs for months now so I figured it was past time to start my own. I have been avoiding creating my own because I know I will only find procrastination with my own blog to keep up with and I fear that I will never have anything to say, but here it goes anyway.
I love this time of year. The lights are beautiful and the spirit of Christmas is in the air....now only if it were about 40 degrees warmer. Don't get me wrong, I would love a white Christmas this year, but only until it was time to go to my aunts for dinner. I am not a fan of cold weather. I hate bundling up in forty layers just to go out in the cold to start my car at 6:45 in the morning. I hate the chapped lips and dry skin burn and itch. I have decided that once I win the lottery I will retire to my winter home in the Caribbean. :)
